FUTURE PROTOSOURCE COMPANY, P2I NEWSPAPERS, SIGNS CONTRACT WITH NANDO MEDIA.
BETHLEHEM, PA – May 20, 2003 – P2i Newspapers, soon to become publicly traded via its reverse merger into Protosource, announced today it has inked a significant agreement with Nando Media. This comes just 30 days after P2i and Northcliffe Electronic Publishing signed contracts. Nando Media is the interactive arm of McClatchy Company, one of the nation’s top ten newspaper groups. P2i has been converting print content into web content for McClatchy newspapers including the Sacramento Bee, Modesto Bee, Fresno Bee, News Tribune of Tacoma-Washington and Minneapolis Star Tribune for several years.
“We are extremely pleased that Nando selected P2i as its strategic partner in the Print-to-Internet arena”, stated Protosource CEO, Peter Wardle. “P2i has been successfully converting content for several McClatchy newspapers for years. Now that we are working closely with Nando to deliver an integrated solution that combines our technology and services with those developed by Nando, we can reasonably anticipate a significant volume increase in the months ahead”.
